Dear Applicants and Agencies:

 

 

The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for the Pipefitting Industry and Pipefitter's, Steamfitters, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Service Local Union #636 of the United Association will be accepting Applications for our Apprenticeship on every Tuesday Evening from 4PM to 6PM.  The Training Center is located at 636 Executive Drive in Troy, between John R. and Dequindre north of 14-mile road.  Call (248)585-0636.

 

Qualifications necessary for an applicant to be considered for a pipefitting apprentices are:

1.      Must be 18 years or older.

2.      Complete the application and return to Pipefitting Industry Training Center with:
      a. A valid driver’s license

b. High School diploma or high school equivalency (GED) certificate

c. $20.00 cash, money order, cashier’s check or certified check made out to                                                      P.I.E.T.F.  This is an application-processing fee. 

 

(No personal checks will be accepted)

 

BRING YOUR DRIVER’S LICENSE, DIPLOMA OR GED, AND MONEY ORDER TO THE

TRAINING CENTER (636 Executive Drive, Troy, between John R. and Dequindre, north of 14 mile road). – On the dates and time indicated above.
            3.  Successfully complete an aptitude test when required.
            4.  Appear for interview when notified. -- ALL PAPERWORK MUST BE IN ORDER BEFORE THE APPLICANT
                 WILL BE INTERVIEWED.
            5.  Submit yourself to a substance abuse test, as prescribed by the JATC.
